Simpler Vector Arts
I got tired of making a vector of myself so I tried something else. The following vectors are originally my sketches. I find it easier to vectorize sketches than photos because they are much simpler. If you notice, there are not a lot of curves because I used lesser anchor points and colors are also minimal.


Talikogenic
Talikogenic is a Filipino made up word that became popular around the time when I was in high school. It consist of “talikod” means “back on” (as in “don’t turn your back on me“) and “genic” from the word “photogenic”. Like Photogenic, which means somebody looking nicer in photos than in reality, Talikogenic is somebody who has nicer looking back view than front view.

Farmer's Feet
These are my farmer’s feet. I call them that because they are not feminine at all. Lengthwise, they’re okay. I never had a problem finding a pair of shoes that will feet them but they’re wide so open toed sandals and slippers do not really look nice on them.

I did this while we were watching some film.

I am really enjoying doing vector projects. It’s difficult and it takes a long time but it is fun. Here is my second vector art project. It is still a picture of me but this time I tried to make it from head to toe.

For shading, I tried to use colors which are not too far from the base color. For the dress and the background, I used a papers from those of the scrap booking kits I have downloaded. Result is still far from perfect but it is already better from the previous one.
